Diamond Foods, Inc. (Nasdaq: DMND): According to reports from FT.com's Mergermarket, has hired Lehman Brothers to conduct an auction of the company.
Given Imaging Ltd. (Nasdaq: GIVN): Needham said Given could be an attractive acquisition target for any of the large GI or diagnostics companies including Boston Scientific (NYSE: BSX), Fujinon, Johnson & Johnson (NYSE: JNJ), Olympus, or Pentax.
Miramar (AMEX: MNG): Investor Van Eck Associates says Newmont (NYSE: NEM) bid for Miramar is too low, according to Bloomberg.
ValueClick (Nasdaq: VCLK): Last night on Jim Cramer's Mad Money, Jim was extremely positive on ValueClick. Cramer thinks that ValueClick is the next online marketing firm to get bought out. He thinks there is at least a 30% premium to ValueClick's closing price on Monday of $25.50.
