WASHINGTON, Feb ⁠9 (Reuters) - A ⁠group ‍representing broadcast television stations and conservative cable ‍news channel Newsmax will square off ​Tuesday on the fate of ​rules that bar broadcasters from reaching more than 39% of the total number of ​U.S. TV households, according to testimony seen by ​Reuters.

Waymo goes fully autonomous in Nashville Feb 9, 2026 03:45PM

Feb 9 (Reuters) - Alphabet ⁠unit ⁠Waymo ‍said on Monday it has gone fully autonomous in Nashville, ‍Tennessee, ramping up operations as the ​robotaxi race heats up in the United States.

In ​September, the company and Lyft announced plans to start offering autonomous cab rides in Nashville this ​year, making it the first commercial deployment of Waymo's driverless taxis ​on the ride-hailing firm's network.

Target steps up store staffing, cuts about 500 other roles, CNBC reports Feb 9, 2026 03:25PM

Feb 9 (Reuters) - Target ⁠is stepping ⁠up ‍store staffing, but eliminating about 500 jobs in distribution centers and regional ‍offices, CNBC reported on Monday, citing an ​internal memo.

The company will reduce the number of ​store districts — the geographic areas that its nearly 2,000 stores are broken into, which have dedicated staffing — and put ​money toward more hours for frontline store employees, the report said.
