SHANGHAI (Reuters) - Novo Nordisk is facing the prospect of intensifying competition in the promising Chinese market where drugmakers are developing at least 15 generic versions of its diabetes drug Ozempic and weight loss treatment Wegovy, clinical trial records showed.

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Russia plans to send combat vessels into the Caribbean region this summer as part of naval exercises that will likely include port calls in Cuba and possibly stops in Venezuela, a senior U.S. official said on Wednesday.

PRAGUE (Reuters) -Four people died and 26 were injured after a passenger train collided with a freight train in the Czech city of Pardubice on Wednesday evening, the regional governor said.
Rescue services were on the scene, the police said, and police were evacuating passengers.
The crash occurred in Pardubice, part of the country's main rail corridor from Prague to the east.

CAIRO (Reuters) - British security firm Ambrey said on Thursday a Greek-owned bulk carrier was allegedly targeted by Yemen's Houthis while travelling northbound in the Red Sea.
The ship's transmissions stopped 118 nautical miles east of Massawa, Eritrea when it was underway from Mormugao, India, with its destination as Suez, Egypt, the firm said in a statement that did not name the ship.

(Reuters) - Central U.S. power grid operator Southwest Power Pool (SPP) said on Wednesday that it had filed for approval to add western entities under its tariff to provide full regional transmission organization (RTO) services across both the eastern and western interconnections.
