WASHINGTON (Reuters) -A panel of judges in the U.S. District Court in New Jersey declined to permanently appoint President Donald Trump's former lawyer Alina Habba as the state's top federal prosecutor, CNN reported on Tuesday citing an order from the court.

(Reuters) -Texas-based utility firm CPS Energy on Tuesday said it entered into an agreement with energy company Modern Hydrogen on a new project to explore the potential for increasing electricity grid resiliency and enabling cleaner power generation from natural gas.
"CPS Energy will pilot Modern Hydrogen’s technology to convert natural gas into clean hydrogen as an ongoing gas-decarbonization service," CPS Energy said in a statement.

(Reuters) -National Public Radio's (NPR) Edith Chapin will step down from her role as editor in chief and acting chief content officer later this year, the news outlet said on Tuesday, at a time when the broadcaster faces funding pressure after the Trump administration slashed public media subsidies.
The news comes a week after the Republican-controlled U.S. House of Representatives passed a $9 billion funding cut to public media and foreign aid.
