(Reuters) - U.S. job growth slowed more than expected in April and annual wage gains cooled, signs of a looser labor market which are good news for markets and the Federal Reserve that will likely require more such signals before pivoting from a higher for longer policy.

(Reuters) - The U.S. Federal Trade Commission has sought additional information about a $16.5 billion deal by Novo Nordisk's parent to buy manufacturing subcontractor Catalent.
The deal was announced in February and Novo Nordisk Foundation has since refiled its application to the U.S. FTC seeking regulatory approval for it.

LONDON (Reuters) - Britain on Friday imposed sanctions on two "extremist" groups and four individuals in Israel who it blamed for violence in the West Bank, its latest package of measures against Israeli settlers.
Britain's Foreign Office named Hilltop Youth and Lehava as two groups which it said were known to have supported, incited and promoted violence against Palestinian communities in the West Bank.
