BERLIN (Reuters) - SAP has prolonged CEO Christian Klein's contract for a further three years, extending it to the end of 2028, the German software company announced on Monday.
In addition, Klein was named chairman of the executive board after previously serving as its speaker, said SAP, one of Europe's biggest tech firms.

(Reuters) - U.S. stock index futures edged higher on Monday, pointing to more gains on Wall Street, as traders priced in a higher chance of the Federal Reserve cutting interest rates this year.
The benchmark S&P 500 and the blue-chip Dow closed at three-week highs on Friday after data showed U.S. job growth slowed more than expected in April, taking pressure off the U.S. central bank to keep rates higher for longer.

BRUSSELS (Reuters) - The European Union Commission no longer believes there is a risk to the rule of law in Poland, EU Commission President Ursula von der Leyen said on Monday, adding that the EU would therefore end rule-of-law proceedings against the country, which were initiated over six years ago.

HONG KONG (Reuters) - Chinese provinces are urging companies to offer women flexible job roles called "Mama's Posts" that make it easier to balance work and childcare, the official Xinhua news agency said on Monday.
Authorities are trying to encourage more women to have children after China's population fell for a second consecutive year in 2023 and births touched a record low.
