(Reuters) - ChatGPT-maker OpenAI plans to announce on Monday updates to its flagship chatbot as its most advanced AI model GPT-4, which "feels like magic," CEO Sam Altman said on X on Friday.
The company said on X that it will hold a livestream conference on Monday at 10am PT (1700 GMT) to "demo some updates to ChatGPT and GPT-4."

(Reuters) - China's Tencent Music Entertainment Group beat first-quarter revenue estimates on Monday, thanks to steady growth in paid subscriptions and advertising services on its Spotify-like music streaming platform.
The audio entertainment platform reported revenue of 6.77 billion yuan ($935.9 million) for the quarter ending March 31. Analysts were expecting revenue of 6.63 billion yuan, according to LSEG data.

BRUSSELS (Reuters) - European Union countries gave their final approval on Monday to a law to cut carbon dioxide emissions from trucks, which will require most new heavy-duty vehicles sold in the EU from 2040 to be emissions-free.
The law will enforce a 90% cut in CO2 emissions from new heavy-duty vehicles by 2040. That means manufacturers will have to sell a large share of fully CO2-free trucks - including electric... (continue reading...)

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Polar Semiconductor is set to receive a $120 million U.S. government grant to expand its plant in Minnesota, which will allow the company to double its U.S. production capacity of sensor and power chips within two years.
