NEW DELHI (Reuters) - At least nine Indian trekkers died in the Himalayas after getting trapped during a blizzard, authorities said on Thursday, as rescue teams airlifted their bodies and five survivors to safety.
The Indian Air Force shared footage on Thursday that showed rescue teams working near a helicopter in the snow-covered mountains.

KUALA LUMPUR (Reuters) - More than 500 people from sea-faring communities around the coast of Malaysia's Sabah state have been evicted from their homes this week as part of a crackdown against undocumented migrants, local activists said.
The Bajau Laut are a community of mostly stateless sea nomads, living offshore in wooden houseboats or huts built on stilts in the Semporna district of Sabah on Borneo island.

BERLIN (Reuters) - Mercedes Benz CEO Ola Kaellenius expects a decision on EU's import tariffs on Chinese electric vehicles soon, he said at an industry conference on Thursday.
"A decision is imminent," the German luxury carmaker's chief executive told the CAR Symposium 2024.
