US to determine cause of Southwest, FedEx jetliners near-miss incident May 9, 2024 04:04PM

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The National Transportation Safety Board will hold a June 6 hearing to determine the probable cause of a February 2023 near- miss incident involving a FedEx cargo plane and a Southwest Airlines jet in Austin, Texas.

LIMA (Reuters) - Peru's poverty rate rose again last year, official data showed on Thursday, as South America's fourth biggest nation struggles to emerge from a painful recession amid ongoing political turbulence blamed in part for denting the economy.
