SpaceX warns investors Elon Musk could return to US politics, Bloomberg reports Jul 22, 2025 02:40PM

(Reuters) -Elon Musk, who served as a senior adviser to President Donald Trump, may return to U.S. politics, Bloomberg News reported on Tuesday, citing SpaceX documents and people familiar with the content.

The company added the language laying out such "risk factors" in paperwork sent to investors discussing a tender offer, according to Bloomberg.

US court blocks New Jersey ban on immigrant detention in CoreCivic lawsuit Jul 22, 2025 02:31PM

(Reuters) -A U.S. appeals court on Tuesday said New Jersey cannot ban the detention of immigrants awaiting deportation within its borders, agreeing with private prison operator CoreCivic that it "destroys the federal government's marketplace" for detention facilities crucial to immigration enforcement.

Trump says received $16 million payment after Paramount lawsuit settlement Jul 22, 2025 02:29PM

(Reuters) -U.S. President Donald Trump said CBS parent company Paramount paid $16 million on Tuesday as part of a lawsuit settlement and that he expects to receive $20 million more.

Paramount earlier this month agreed to settle a lawsuit filed by Trump over an interview with former Vice President Kamala Harris that the network broadcast in October.

Epstein files fight leads US House Republicans to start summer break a day early Jul 22, 2025 02:28PM
