HELSINKI (Reuters) - A man with far-right sympathies is suspected of carrying out a stabbing attack in which a 12-year-old child was seriously wounded at a shopping centre in the northern Finnish city of Oulu, police said on Friday.
The suspect also targeted a second child in the attack, which took place late on Thursday, and will face preliminary charges of two attempted murders, the National Bureau of Investigation said in a statement.

TOKYO (Reuters) -Japan's securities watchdog recommended on Friday that the banking and securities units of Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group (MUFG) be penalised for what it said was unauthorised sharing of client information.
The Securities and Exchange Surveillance Commission (SESC) made the recommendation to the banking regulator, the Financial Services Agency (FSA), which hands out such punishments in Japan.

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - U.S. consumer sentiment deteriorated in June as households worried about inflation and incomes, a survey showed on Friday.
The University of Michigan's preliminary reading on the overall index of consumer sentiment came in at 65.6 this month, compared to a final reading of 69.1 in May. Economists polled by Reuters had forecast a preliminary reading of 72.0.
