PARIS (Reuters) - Technology and software giant Microsoft will invest 4 billion euros ($4.3 billion) in France as part of the annual 'Choose France' business summit, its vice chair and president Brad Smith told Le Figaro paper.
Smith said much of this investment money would focus on the artificial intelligence (AI) sector and that Microsoft would set up a data centre in the French city of Mulhouse.

MANILA (Reuters) -The Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) is committed to sustaining a presence in a disputed area of the South China Sea to ensure China does not carry out reclamation activities at the Sabina Shoal, its spokesperson said on Monday.

(Reuters) - Georgia's police have begun pushing away demonstrators who staged an all-night rally at parliament in Tbilisi ahead of a lawmakers' debate of a "foreign agents" bill that has sparked a political crisis, Russia's TASS news agency reported on Monday.
