(Reuters) - Shares of Grayscale Bitcoin Trust jumped 5% in premarket trading on Monday after the exchange-traded fund (ETF) that tracks the price of bitcoin saw its first day of inflow since January.
The move marks a major milestone for GBTC, which has seen $17.46 billion in withdrawals since it converted from a trust to an easily tradable ETF in January, due to the higher fees it charges compared with rivals.

BEIRUT-JERUSALEM (Reuters) - Hezbollah said on Monday it carried out a drone attack on an Israeli military position near the northern Israeli town of Metula that left several dead and injured.
Israel's military said it could not yet confirm the injuries or casualties, but said a drone had crossed from Lebanon into the Metula area. Israeli media reported two people were seriously wounded in the attack.

WARSAW (Reuters) - Unused European Union funds meant for helping member states recover from the pandemic should be put towards building the defence industry, Poland's deputy prime minister and its foreign minister said on Monday.
Poland is spending more on defence as a proportion of its GDP than other EU states and has called for EU members to ramp up defence spending in the wake of Russia's invasion of Ukraine.

BOGOTA (Reuters) - Colombia's majority state-owned energy company Ecopetrol is analyzing its potential direct participation in the Andean country's first-ever offshore wind auction, the company said in a statement to Reuters.
The government of President Gustavo Petro, Colombia's first leftist leader, has said it wants to wean the Andean country from its dependence on fossil fuels while ensuring energy self-sufficiency.
