ABUJA (Reuters) - Nigeria's main labour unions on Friday said they had declared an indefinite strike from Monday over the minimum wage.
The Nigerian Labour Congress (NLC) and the Trade Union Congress (TUC) - two of the country's biggest unions - had said on May 1 that they would down tools if a new minimum wage was not agreed by the end of May.

SAN SALVADOR (Reuters) - El Salvador's national police shared details on Tuesday about an alleged plot by veterans of the country's civil war to detonate explosives on Saturday, when President Nayib Bukele is inaugurated for a second term.

WASHINGTON (Reuters) -U.S. President Joe Biden on Friday called on Hamas militants to agree to a new offer from Israel on releasing hostages in exchange for a Gaza ceasefire, saying this is the best way to begin winding down the deadly conflict.
