(Reuters) - Hunter Biden, the son of President Joe Biden, on Monday sought a new a trial after being convicted by a jury last week of lying about his illegal drug use to buy a gun, according to a filing in federal court in Delaware.
In the filing, Hunter Biden's lawyers argued the court lacked jurisdiction.

(Reuters) - A federal judge in Arkansas has tossed out a legal challenge by 17 Republican-led states to a U.S. agency rule giving workers who had abortions the same legal protections as those who are pregnant or recently gave birth.

HOUSTON (Reuters) - Texas, Louisiana and Mississippi on Monday sued the U.S. government to block the Biden administration's proposed rule that would require the offshore oil and gas industry to provide nearly $7 billion in funds to cover costs of dismantling old infrastructure.

(Reuters) - Union members at Ultium Cells - a joint venture between General Motors and LG Energy Solution - in Lordstown, Ohio voted to ratify a new labor agreement, the United Auto Workers said on Monday.
About 98% of votes cast were in favor of the new deal, which includes a 30% wage increase over three years for many workers, and a $3,000 ratification bonus.
