WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Amazon on Thursday said it would begin a process to deorbit two prototype satellites it launched in 2023 as an early test of its Kuiper broadband internet constellation, a planned network of over 3,000 satellites that will compete with SpaceX's Starlink.

BRUSSELS (Reuters) - The far-right Identity and Democracy (ID) group in the European Parliament said on Thursday it had decided to expel the Alternative for Germany's (AfD) delegation, weeks before elections to the assembly.

DUBAI (Reuters) - The leader of Yemen's Houthis, Abdul Malik al-Houthi, said on Thursday that one of their operations this week targeted the Mediterranean Sea.
Earlier this month, al-Houthi had said that all ships heading to Israeli ports would be targeted by the Iran-backed group, not just those in the Red Sea region which it has targeted before.
