JAKARTA (Reuters) - The Indonesian government will permanently relocate almost 10,000 residents after a series of explosive eruptions of the Ruang volcano has raised concerns about the dangers of residing on the island in future, a minister said on Friday.

(Reuters) - Goldman Sachs said on Friday it had reached an in-principle settlement to resolve a 2014 class action lawsuit related to trading in platinum and palladium.
The investment bank was among a number of defendants named in the lawsuit, which alleged they had violated antitrust laws by conspiring to manipulate a benchmark for physical platinum and palladium prices.

(Reuters) - Panama's top court on Friday ruled the presidential candidacy of ex-President Ricardo Martinelli's former running mate Jose Raul Mulino is constitutional, days before the election.
Jose Raul Mulino joined the race in March as Martinelli's replacement, after Martinelli was removed from the race due to a nearly 11-year sentence for money laundering. Recent polls place Mulino as the favorite to win the May 5 vote.
(Reuters) - Shares in Danish drugmaker Novo Nordisk dropped as much as 5.3% on Friday, set for their biggest one-day fall since August 2022, after rival Amgen said it was encouraged by interim trial data on its experimental obesity drug.
Novo Nordisk were last down 4.4% by 1022 GMT, having hit their lowest in two months earlier in the day.
