SEOUL (Reuters) - South Korea will begin on Sunday loudspeaker broadcasts at the border directed at North Korea in response to the resumption of balloons carrying trash being launched by Pyongyang, the South's National Security Council said in a statement.

(Reuters) - Tesla will not launch a refreshed Model Y this year, chief executive Elon Musk said in a post on social media X on Saturday.

"No Model Y 'refresh' is coming out this year", Musk said, adding that Tesla continuously improves its cars, "so even a car that is 6 months newer will be a little better."

Chrysler to recall more than 211,000 vehicles in US due to software malfunction, NHTSA says Jun 8, 2024 11:06PM

(Reuters) - Chrysler is recalling more than 211,000 vehicles in the United States due to a software malfunction that could disable the electronic stability control system, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) said on Saturday.

Due to the malfunction, the Anti-Lock Brake System (ABS) control module may disable the electronic stability control system, the regulator said.

Haiti's interim PM stable after hospitalization for 'slight illness' Jun 8, 2024 10:04PM

PORT-AU-PRINCE (Reuters) -Haiti's new interim prime minister, Garry Conille, is in stable condition after being hospitalized for an unspecified illness on Saturday afternoon, his office said.

Conille, 58, who took office just over a week ago, was rushed to hospital after suffering breathing problems, local media reported earlier. His office did not provide details on the cause of his hospitalization.

North Korea resumes sending trash balloons to South Korea Jun 8, 2024 09:40PM

SEOUL (Reuters) - North Korea has resumed sending balloons carrying trash over the border to South Korea, officials and news reports said on Sunday, a week after it vowed to continue if anti-North Korea leaflets are flown from the South.
