NEW DELHI (Reuters) - Lack of jobs, high inflation and falling income in India led voters to rein in support for Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the general election where his Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) failed to win a majority, according to a survey.

KYIV (Reuters) - The Ukrainian air force shot down 17 out of 18 Shahed-type drones over four regions during Russia's overnight attack on Thursday, according to the military.
Russia's attack caused a fire at an infrastructure facility in Khmelnytskyi region, where one drone was shot down, the regional governor said. The emergency services worked to put out the fire on Thursday morning with no casualties reported by local authorities.

(Reuters) - SpaceX's giant Starship rocket is scheduled for a fourth test flight to space on Thursday with a tricky primary objective: survive a blazingly hot re-entry through Earth's atmosphere, the violent phase where the rocket broke apart during its last attempt.
