PARIS (Reuters) - World leaders and veterans gather in Normandy on Thursday to mark the 80th anniversary of the June 6, 1944 D-Day landings, when more than 150,000 Allied soldiers invaded France in a major turning point of World War Two.

MEXICO CITY (Reuters) - Mexico is rushing to expand the cargo holding area of a two-year-old military-run airport, less than a year after the outgoing president forced cargo flights to move to the site, an official confirmed on Wednesday.

(Reuters) -A person with prior health complications who had contracted bird flu died in Mexico in April and the source of exposure to the virus was unknown, the World Health Organization said on Wednesday.
