INDIANAPOLIS--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- hhgregg (NYSE: HGG), a leading appliances, electronics and furniture retailer, is entering the spotlight this May at the Indianapolis 500, as three Andretti Autosport Indy 500 drivers will carry hhgregg into history during the 100th Running: Marco Andretti, Carlos Muñoz and Ryan Hunter-Reay.

hhgregg has also partnered with Maytag for a series of events surrounding The Greatest Spectacle in Racing.

Maytag and hhgregg invite race-goers to check out the Maytag Display at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway May 12-14, 20-22 and 27-29 to see the latest innovations from Maytag and participate in a variety of events including a racing simulator and a laundry toss competition.

In addition, Maytag and hhgregg are teaming up to honor 33 everyday heroes throughout the month via Maytag Salutes. From charity leaders and volunteers to firefighters and military personnel, anyone making a difference in their community is eligible. To say thanks, the selected nominees will receive a Maytag washer and dryer.
