Scott Lynch Joins Seaport Global Securities as Head of Institutional Equity Trading/Sales-Trading & Co-Head of Institutional Equity Sales

Tim Arthurs Takes on Expanded Role as Co-Head of Institutional Equity Sales

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Seaport Global Securities LLC is pleased to announce that Mr. Scott Lynch has joined the firm as Managing Director, Head of Institutional Equity Trading/Sales-Trading and Co-Head of Institutional Equity Sales at the firm’s New York headquarters. Joining him in an expanded role as Co-Head of Institutional Equity Sales is Mr. Tim Arthurs who will continue to work from the firm’s mid-west office in Chicago.

Mr. Lynch is a seasoned financial industry professional with more than thirty years’ experience predominantly at Credit Suisse where he managed the Americas Cash Trading division. His resume also includes four years as Head of Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette’s Non-US Dollar Trading Operation in London.

Mr. Arthurs has over 15 years of experience in equity research, sales and capital markets. He joined Global Hunter Securities LLC in 2007, a predecessor US registered Broker Dealer which subsequently merged with Seaport in 2014. He was instrumental in building the firm’s Equity Sales and Research efforts. Mr. Arthurs previously served in positions of escalating responsibility throughout his career including serving as a senior institutional salesman covering the Midwest at Roth Capital Partners, LLC and in research and institutional sales at FTN Capital Markets (now Cleveland Research).
