Point72 Hires Dr. Gio Valiante as Head Performance Coach

STAMFORD, Conn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Point72 Asset Management, L.P. (Point72) has announced today that Dr. Gio Valiante has joined Point72 full-time as Head Performance Coach to help investment professionals perform to their maximum potential.

Dr. Valiante has been consulting at the Firm for the past 18 months and will continue to work one-on-one with Point72’s investment professionals to improve performance.

Before joining Point72, Dr. Gio was a sports psychologist, working with many of the top PGA Tour players such as Justin Rose, Matt Kuchar, and Camilo Villegas to improve their mental game. Over 15 years his players have won more than 60 PGA and LPGA Tour events.

An author of two books, Dr. Gio was a full-time professor at Rollins College and the mental game consultant to organizations such as the Golf Channel, Golf Digest, Coca Cola, Red Bull, the Orlando Magic, and the University of Florida.
