National Association of Professional Women Inducts Christine Wentt, Adult Hospitalist Physician Assistant, MDICS, Into its VIP Professional Woman of the Year Circle

The National Association of Professional Women (NAPW) honors Christine Wentt as a 2015-2016 inductee into its VIP Woman of the Year Circle. She is recognized with this prestigious distinction for leadership in healthcare. NAPW is the nation's leading networking organization exclusively for professional women, boasting more than 775,000 members and over 200 operating Local Chapters.

As an NCCPA Certified Adult Hospitalist Physician Assistant at Physicians Inpatient Care Specialists (MDICS), Christine Wentt is dedicated to providing expert healthcare services to patients in a hospital setting. In her role for more than five years, she has a number of key responsibilities. Among her duties are admitting and discharging patients, reviewing charts, interpreting tests and diagnostic imaging, developing care plans and prescribing medication.

An effective communicator and compassionate healthcare worker, Ms. Wentt takes the time to speak with patients, as well as their families, to discuss their cases by answering questions and relaying new information. She also regularly consults with the members of a patient's healthcare team and coordinates additional patient care and consultations when needed.

In addition to her clinical work, Ms. Wentt has been an Adjunct Professor at Drexel University Physician Assistant Program since 2013. Ms. Wentt obtained her Master of Health Science from Drexel University and a Bachelor of Science in Medical and Research Technology from the University of Maryland Baltimore. She is an active member of the American Academy of Physicians Assistants.
