NAPW Inducts Dr. Michelle S. Earnest, DMin, M.S.N., R.N., FNP-BC, EEM-AP, Director of Education, Innersource, Into its VIP Professional Woman of the Year Circle

The National Association of Professional Women (NAPW) honors Dr. Michelle S. Earnest as a 2015-2016 inductee into its VIP Woman of the Year Circle. She is recognized with this prestigious distinction for leadership in holistic healing. NAPW is the nation's leading networking organization exclusively for professional women, boasting 850,000 members and over 200 operating Local Chapters.

Dr. Michelle S. Earnest brings an impressive background to her role as Director of Education for Innersource. A Nurse Practitioner by vocation, she was educated at the Peter Bent Brigham Hospital School of Nursing, Widener University (B.S.N.), and Virginia Commonwealth University (M.S.N.).

Also a graduate of the New Seminary for Interfaith Studies and an ordained Interfaith Minister, Dr. Earnest completed degrees from Wesley Theological Seminary (MDiv) and Washington Theological Union (DMin).

After 27 years as a Nurse Practitioner, Dr. Earnest served as a Chaplain for several years. "My chaplain training was a remarkable time of growth and learning," Dr. Earnest remarked. "Working in both the highly stressful ICU environment and hospice care, I honed my pastoral care skills by ministering to patients walking on the edge of life and death. This continues to profoundly influence all areas of my personal and professional life."

Today, Dr. Earnest's responsibilities as Director of Education include overseeing all the educational activities offered by Innersource, as well as maintaining a small private practice. "I manage a program that serves over 500 students and 1,000 certified practitioners from around the world, including a large number of healthcare professionals in mainstream medicine," she said.

Innersource is the home for Eden Energy Medicine (EEM). EEM is an innovative approach to healing. "EEM is on the cutting edge of Integrative Healthcare," stated Dr. Earnest.
