Life in Reels Productions and Foundry Films co-producing "June 17th" - a compelling film exploring what might have been Napoleon's thoughts the night before Waterloo

"June 17th" is a Screen Actors Guild (SAG) short film that explores the internal struggle Napoleon Bonaparte may have had the night before Waterloo. In the hills of Belgium in 1815, Napoleon prepares for his engagement with the two military powers rallying to force him off his throne. But can he see the human element in his bid for conquest? That night, with the sound of the rain hitting the fabric of the small tent, he reminisces on what led him to the edge of the battlefield and what his ambitions have cost him.

"June 17th" is co-produced by award winning San Diego based Life in Reels Productions and will be shot on location July 11 in Julian, California. The filmmakers are passionate about bringing this story to life for an international audience and will distribute the finished film throughout film festivals featuring short films. The creators collectively have many years of experience. Independent Edit an award winning post production house will be doing the post-production work for this film project. The casting process is currently underway for this SAG short film and Terry Ross, an award winning film Director, has signed on to be Casting Director.
