Krista Nordlund Assumes Vice President of Product Management Role at BookIt.com

PANAMA CITY BEACH, FLA. – March 25, 2015 - BookIt.com Chief Executive Officer, Bud Finlaw, announced the appointment of Krista Nordlund as Vice President of Product Management for BookIt.com and its associated companies, effective March 23rd.

In her role, Nordlund will lead BookIt's Product Management activities, including the planning, forecasting, and production of BookIt's website, mobile experience, mobile apps, as well as backend systems. She will report to Brian Clark, Acting Chief Operating Officer, and will be based in BookIt's Orlando, FL office.

"Krista is a very talented, experienced, and accomplished leader," said Clark. "BookIt is currently implementing a strategic roadmap focused on product improvements and Krista is the perfect person to lead BookIt's product advancement."

Nordlund brings 15 years of expertise in product management and e-commerce to BookIt.com. Most recently, she spent 2.5 years as Vice President of Product and Business Operations for the Travel Media Group at USA Today, where she was responsible for technical strategy, development and execution of the digital product portfolio. Prior to that, she spent nearly 6 years at Expedia, ending her tenure there as Director of Product Management in the Global Tour and Transport team.

Nordlund holds a Bachelor's degree from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and a Master's in Business Administration from the University of Washington. She has relocated to Orlando with her husband and two children.
