InventHelp Inventor Develops Seating Option for the Back of Work Vans (MTN-2433)

PITTSBURGH, PA (PRWEB) November 27, 2015

"I work in construction and own a work van," said an inventor from Long Island City, N.Y. "My crew normally just hops in the van and lies down on the floor in the back, as there are no seats back there because the cargo area is used for tools and supplies. I have gotten ticketed for transporting passengers like this many times. I devised this seat so that my crew would have a safe place to sit."

He created a prototype for the patent-pending JUMP OFF SEAT to create seating options in the back of a work van. This enables a passenger to sit down and buckle up. The seat saves passengers from having to sit or lie down on the floor, which is designed to enhance passenger safety. Additionally, the seat ensures that the driver is complying with the law with regard to transporting passengers. This helps the driver avoid costly tickets.

The original design was submitted to the Manhattan office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
