Greenberg Traurig's Paul Keenan to Moderate Panel at Debtwire Mexico Roundtable

MIAMI – April 13, 2015 – Paul J. Keenan, a shareholder with the Business Reorganization and Financial Restructuring Practice in the Miami office of international law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP, will moderate a panel discussion at the Debtwire Mexico Roundtable on April 16, 2015. The firm is also a lead sponsor of the event.

Roundtable topics will highlight Mexican restructuring and credit markets. Speakers will also discuss changes to the Concurso law under Mexico's financial reform as they relate to recent precedent-setting cases.

Keenan focuses his practice on representing corporate debtors, banks and other lending institutions, Chapter 11 trustees, secured and unsecured creditors, and asset purchasers in out-of-court corporate restructurings and bankruptcy cases. He represents clients in bankruptcy courts in Florida and nationwide and also represents purchasers of distressed assets and lenders and borrowers in out-of-court transactions. He also represents lending institutions and corporate debtors in cross-border corporate restructurings, primarily in Latin America and the Caribbean. Paul was one of the lead restructuring lawyers for Satélites Mexicanos, S.A. de C.V., whose restructuring of $420 million of debt was awarded the "Restructuring Deal of the Year Award" by Latin Lawyer magazine.
