Governor Wolf Orders Flags At Half-staff To Honor Officer Robert Wilson
HARRISBURG, Pa., March 6, 2015 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Governor Tom Wolf today ordered all Pennsylvania flags in the Capitol Complex and at Commonwealth facilities in Philadelphia County lowered to half-staff in honor of Philadelphia Police Officer Robert Wilson, III who died in the line of duty on Thursday, March, 5, 2015.
"I invite all Pennsylvanians to participate in this tribute to Officer Wilson," Governor Wolf said. "We will never forget Robert's sacrifice. His entire family and the men and women of the Philadelphia Police Department remain in our thoughts through this time of mourning."
Pennsylvania flags shall remain lowered until sunset on the day of Wilson's interment.
