Global Contest of Works on Xinjiang Launched in Beijing
BEIJING, Oct. 28, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- A global contest of online works on Xinjiang, named "Xinjiang in My Eyes", has been launched in Beijing on October 12, 2016.
The contest specifies three major categories: pictures, short videos and texts. A special sports award has also been designed.
The contest aims to display the beauty of Xinjiang from different perspectives, promoting Xinjiang to the whole world.
The works will be appraised through netizens' voting and experts' scoring.
The contest is held under the guidance of the Press Office of the State Council and is hosted by China Radio International (CRI Online) and the press office of the government of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region.
Participants can submit their works from October 12 to November 30 by sending email to [email protected].
The works will be displayed on the website travel.china.com/zhuanti/xinjiang/ where people can vote there.
