GM Financial 2016 Internship Program to Partner with Tarrant Area Food Bank for Volunteer Event

What:

As part of the company’s Summer Internship Program, GM Financial’s 2016 internship class will hold its 2nd annual volunteer event at Tarrant Area Food Bank, which serves as the primary source of donated food for hunger-relief charities and feeding programs in 13 North Texas counties. GM Financial has a long and tenured legacy of community investment and social responsibility, a legacy that continues to grow as the company expands its employment presence, while still remaining committed to offering full-time team members 8 hours of paid time off each quarter to volunteer. In the past two years alone, GM Financial has increased headcount by more than 20 percent in North America, with nearly 50 percent of this total workforce (or approximately 4,000 team members) living, working and serving communities here in North Texas.

Interns are based in GM Financial locations across the country, working in functions including IT, Finance, Credit Review, Customer Experience, Commercial Lending and more.
