First Annual Rick Najera and Friends Celebrity Golf Classic Fundraiser Set for August 24 at Spanish Hills Country Club

CAMARILLO, Calif., Aug. 5, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- El Concilio Family Services has announced the First Annual Rick Najera and Friends Celebrity Golf Classic set to take place on Monday, August 24 at Spanish Hills Country Club in Camarillo, CA. The tournament will benefit El Concilio's mission to support the agricultural workers and their families in the region.

Rick Najera is an award-winning writer-actor-director-author-speaker and comedian with a portfolio of work in film, television, radio, Broadway and Internet. In addition to Rick Najera (CBS, Hulu, Showtime, Mad TV, In Living Color), actor Enrique Castillo (Dejavu, NCIS, Weeds), Jorge Gamboa (Director of Mexico Tourism Board Los Angeles) and Mike Brown (Celebrity Golf Pro) have already jumped on board as featured tournament guests. The tournament has already secured 24 of its 36 foursome teams. Sponsors to date include The Players Club, Wells Fargo Bank, Reiter Affiliated Companies, Plaza Development Partners, Dr. Ray Lopez and Ventura County Agricultural Association.

The First Annual Rick Najera and Friends Celebrity Golf Classic will take place on Monday, August 24 at Spanish Hills Country Club at its private 18-hole championship golf course designed by renowned architect Robert E. Cupp.  Spanish Hills Country Club is located at 999 Crestview Avenue, Camarillo, CA, 93010. Registration starts at 9:30 am, with tee off 11:00 am.
