Customer Demand Prompts Second U-Haul Store in Fredericksburg

FREDERICKSBURG, Va., Nov. 6, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- A second U-Haul store in Fredericksburg is open and serving the moving and storage needs of the community. U-Haul Moving & Storage of Celebrate Virginia at 1101 International Pkwy. welcomed its first customers on May 29.

"It is my second store in the town of Fredericksburg, so we are really growing," U-Haul Company of Northern Virginia president Wayne King said. "This gives us an opportunity to employ more people in the community."

The city's first store, U-Haul Moving & Storage of Fredericksburg, is located at 2411 Plank Road.

The International Parkway property features a 51,361-square-foot facility situated on 10.6 acres of land. Customers can currently take advantage of truck and trailer rentals, but much more is planned for the near future.

Within the next eight months, King said customers will be treated to a full-service U-Haul store with 700 storage units, propane, U-Box portable moving and self-storage containers and much more.

"This store means more access to more U-Haul products for the residents of Fredericksburg," King said.
