Colligo Integrates More Capabilities into its Mobile Content Management Platform with Microsoft Azure

February 16, 2016 6:03 AM EST

Vancouver, BC (PRWEB) February 16, 2016

Colligo, a leader in mobile content management (MCM) solutions for Microsoft SharePoint, Office 365 and OneDrive for Business, today announces the integration of additional Microsoft Azure capabilities into the Colligo Engage Console to enable businesses to rapidly integrate, implement and operate Colligo's mobile content management platform as part of their overall SharePoint/Office 365 deployment.

"Today's enterprises focus on agile software development that responds to ever-changing customer demands," comments Dan Mills, CTO of Colligo. "As part of the recent enhancements to our Colligo Engage platform, we've incorporated a number of additional Azure capabilities to ensure that our customers can easily integrate and operate our platform within their existing system infrastructure."

A single sign-on experience

Colligo Engage supports federated identity management, ADFS and Microsoft Azure AD, between its Console and an enterprise's on-premise, cloud-based or hybrid user directory. This new capability dramatically improves the user experience by providing users quick access to Colligo apps through a single sign-on across all of their devices.

Continuous app insights

As part of its mobile app analytics strategy, Colligo has incorporated Microsoft Azure Stream Analytics into the Colligo Engage Platform to provide more robust app usage reporting capabilities to Colligo customers. With Azure Stream Analytics, the user behaviour and content activity data captured by Colligo apps is continuously analysed and made available to IT administrators for monitoring user engagement and compliance, enabling them to proactively identify potential issues.

Built with Azure API

As the Colligo Console is an essential part of an organizations' overall SharePoint environment, Colligo is working with the new Azure API Management, Microsoft's turnkey, cloud-based API management solution. This means that IT departments will soon be able to utilize their existing infrastructure to deploy and manage Colligo apps.

"The future of mobile content management hinges on vendors' ability to continually help their customers improve their systems to drive end-user adoption," says Nicole Herskowitz, senior director of product marketing, Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Corp. "Colligo is an example of how Microsoft works with innovative businesses who make use of our platforms and services to address the critical customer challenge. We anticipate Colligo will continue to partner with us to deliver innovate solutions to their customers."
