Coach Announces Senior Appointments to Brand Communications Team

Names Caroline Deroche Pasquier to SVP, Global Public Relations & Communications; Jo Baldwin to VP, Global Head of Creative Studio

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Coach, Inc. (NYSE: COH) (SEHK: 6388), a leading New York design house of modern luxury accessories and lifestyle brands, today announced a strengthening of its brand communications organization with two key appointments focused on elevating the brand message globally.

Victor Luis, Chief Executive Officer of Coach, Inc., said, “The appointments of Caroline Deroche Pasquier and Jo Baldwin are the latest steps taken to broaden our organizational capabilities as we execute Coach’s transformation across product, stores and marketing. Caroline and Jo will play key roles in messaging the brand’s emergence as a modern luxury house of design, building upon our heritage as America’s original house of leather.”

Caroline Deroche Pasquier will join Coach as Senior Vice President, Global Public Relations and Communications, effective in early calendar 2016, reporting to both Victor Luis and Stuart Vevers, Executive Creative Director. In her role, Ms. Pasquier will be responsible for defining and driving the global public relations and brand communications strategy, partnering with leaders throughout the organization to create and deliver a consistent and cohesive brand story, in support of Coach’s modern luxury positioning.

Ms. Pasquier joins Coach from LVMH, where she has been the Worldwide Communication Director for Givenchy. At Givenchy, she has been responsible for managing press, media, celebrity influencers and events including the organization and management of the fashion shows across all collections. Prior to Givenchy, Ms. Pasquier was the International Press and Public Relations Director for the Louis Vuitton brand and started her career in worldwide press for Yves Saint Laurent.

Additionally, Jo Baldwin will join Coach later this month as Vice President, Global Head of Creative Studio, also reporting to Victor Luis and Stuart Vevers. In this role, Ms. Baldwin will be responsible for the concept, design and development of all image-led creative including digital, social media, print, video, out-of-home and packaging. She will set and maintain brand standards and ensure consistency in how the Coach story is told, reinforcing its modern luxury positioning both in visual imagery and voice across all touch points.

Ms. Baldwin joins Coach from Net-a-Porter where she most recently led all visual direction as the Executive Creative Director for Net-a-Porter.com. Throughout her time with Net-a-Porter, she was responsible for driving creative for the website, print and on-line magazine, video, mobile, and social media. She also worked on special projects and collaborations with their most important brand and designer partners. Prior to Net-a-Porter, Ms. Baldwin spent her career in the editorial world, working as a designer and art director with increasing levels of responsibility at lead fashion publications in the United Kingdom including Vogue, Elle, Harper’s Bazaar and Glamour.
