Boise Cascade Company Announces Promotion of Hoffmann to Vice President

BOISE, Idaho - Boise Cascade Company (Boise Cascade) (NYSE: BCC) today announced that Tom Hoffmann has been appointed vice president of operations for Building Materials Distribution (BMD), effective October 26, 2016. Mr. Hoffmann joined Boise Cascade as a sales trainee in 1981 and has served in various sales and management positions with BMD throughout his career, including region manager of BMD's Pacific Region and, most recently, division operations manager. "Tom has extensive experience in growing our product mix and sales, and his operating experience will help us to continue to drive improvements throughout our distribution business," commented Tom Corrick, chief executive officer of Boise Cascade. Mr. Hoffmann received a bachelor of business from the University of Idaho.
