ORLANDO, FL -- (Marketwired) -- 05/05/16 -- Georgia-based entertainment company Andretti Indoor Karting & Games has named Foundry Commercial as its project management and owner representation partner for its new Orlando location, located directly behind the convention center on Universal Blvd. Additionally, the commercial real estate company will assist Andretti Indoor Karting & Games with selecting more site locations throughout the Southeast.

Andretti, one of the most unique entertainment experiences in Georgia, has built a strong customer base in the Roswell, GA and Marietta, GA markets. Now, the company is expanding to additional cities across the Southeast, and has selected Orlando as its first stop for development.

The new facility, which will enjoy close proximity to other Orlando entertainment, tourist hubs and the Orange County Convention Center, will span 160,000+/- square feet and will offer guests a variety of indoor activities, including electric indoor karting on multi level tracks, racing simulators, laser tag, bowling, arcade games, an elevated ropes course, rock climbing, sky bar, a fresh food full service restaurant and over 7,000 square feet of meeting space.

"As one of the top tourist and convention destinations in the world, Orlando, FL afford us the unique opportunity to introduce the Andretti brand of entertainment to the millions of visitors coming to the area as well as the more than two million residents of this thriving community," said Edison Hamann, managing member of AIKG, LLC. "Foundry has an excellent reputation in the industry for managing projects of all sizes and budgets with the upmost care and integrity. It was an easy decision for our company to hire them for our expansion."

In Orlando, Foundry Commercial will lead the general contractor and the design build teams, oversee design process, orchestrate approval from the Development Review Committee and guide Andretti in the local permitting process.

"Andretti Indoor Karting & Games will be an outstanding addition to the Orlando community," said Paul Ellis, CEO of Foundry Commercial. "Anyone who lives here knows that there is no shortage of entertainment possibilities, but this facility will be an entertainment experience that is unlike anything in Central Florida. We are thrilled to be a part of the team that is bringing it to life."

Construction on the Andretti Indoor Karting & Games Orlando facility will begin in July 2016. Expected delivery of the facility is slated for Spring 2017.
