McDonald's (MCD) Volatility Elevated into Q1 EPS

McDonald's (NYSE: MCD) volatility is elevated heading into its quarterly earnings report. Market data shows implied volatility up 11.6 percent above yesterday's number calculated at the close.

First-quarter results are expected out Friday. McDonald's is expected to produce EPS of $1.23 on revs of $6.54 billion, compared with EPS of $1.15 and revs of $6.11 billion reported last year.

Shares are 2.4 percent lower in late-Thursday trading.
