Microchip Technology Incorporated (NASDAQ: MCHP) today announced the retirement of Gordon Parnell as VP and CFO, effective December 31, 2008. Upon Mr. Parnell's retirement, he will be replaced by J. Eric Bjornholt, currently VP of Finance and Corporate Secretary.
