Just before the market opened, Delphi Financial Group, Inc. (NYSE: DFG) announced today that it has priced its previously announced public offering of 3,000,000 shares of its Class A common stock at $17.50 per share to the public.
Delphi has granted the underwriters a 30-day option to purchase up to 450,000 additional shares of Class A common stock from Delphi. The offering is expected to settle and close on May 1, 2009, subject to customary closing conditions.
Net proceeds from the offering are expected to be used for general corporate purposes.
