First Solar, Inc. (Nasdaq: FSLR) is back on the move Wednesday, following a strong 3.8 percent finish higher on Tuesday.
The heavily shorted stock -- at 44 percent of float -- appeared to have seen some covering at the $26 resistance level yesterday. Indeed, shares held short were about 46 percent to 47 percent on Tuesday.
Today, peers Yingli Green Energy (NYSE: YGE) and JA Solar (Nasdaq: JASO) reported earnings and both are trading notably higher on the session.
First Solar is up just over 1 percent after being negative earlier.
