BMC Software (Nasdaq: BMC), announced the acquisition of I/O Concepts with its industry-leading ioEnterprise line of mainframe console security, automation and consolidation solutions.
The acquisition expands BMC’s MainView monitoring and automation suite and reflects the company’s commitment to best-in-class solutions for managing any IBM System z console environment. The ioEnterprise solution will be introduced as BMC MainView Console Management for zEnterprise. The solution enables customers to efficiently manage complex and geographically dispersed operations from a consolidated and secured point of control.
