Lundin Mining (LMC) Announces Several Management Changes

Lundin Mining Corporation (NYSE: LMC) today announce several management changes:

• A new finance team starts in the Toronto office effective September 2, 2008 led by Mr. Ted Mayers who has been appointed CFO. Mayers will be supported in his new role by Marie Inkster, Vice President, Finance and two other senior finance people.
  
• Peter Nicoll has also been appointed to the role of Vice President, Health, Safety, Environment and Community.

Lundin Mining Corporation, through its subsidiaries, engages in the exploration, extraction, and processing of base metals in Portugal, Spain, Sweden, and Ireland.
