Distributed Energy Systems (DESC) Elects Bernard H. Cherry as Chairman
Distributed Energy Systems Corp. (Nasdaq: DESC) elected Bernard H. Cherry as its new chairman, effective May 18, 2007. He succeeds Dr. Robert W. Shaw, Jr., who resigned from the Board for health reasons.
Mr. Cherry joined Distributed Energy Systems' Board in January 2007, having recently completed a 3-1/2-year tenure at Foster Wheeler Ltd. (Nasdaq: FWLT) as president and chief executive officer of the Foster Wheeler Global Power Group.
