ancestry.com (ACOM) Files $75M IPO

ancestry.com (Nasdaq: ACOM) filed a registration statement with the SEC for an initial public offering of its common stock. The proposed maximum aggregate offering price is $75 million. The company plans to list on the NASDAQ under the stock symbol "ACOM".

The offering is being made through Morgan Stanley, BofA/Merrill Lynch, Jefferies & Co., Piper Jaffray and BMO Capital Markets.

Ancestry.com is the world’s largest online resource for family history, with almost one million paying subscribers around the world as of June 30, 2009.
