NovaCardia (NCAR) Files $86.25 Million IPO

NovaCardia (Nasdaq: NCAR) filed a registration statement with the SEC for an initial public offering. The proposed maximum aggregate offering price is $86.25 million. The Company intends to apply to list it's common stock on The NASDAQ Global Market under the symbol "NCAR".

The offering is being made through JPMorgan, Credit Suisse, Pacific Growth Equities, LLC and First Albany Capital.

NovaCardia is a clinical-stage pharmaceutical company focused on developing drugs to treat major cardiovascular diseases that are underserved by existing therapies.
