Manchester United Files $100M IPO

Manchester United Ltd. filed a registration with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission for an Initial Public Offering of its Common Stock. The proposed maximum offering price is $100 million. Manchester United applied to list on the New York Stock Exchange, but hasn't chosen a ticker as of yet.

The offering is being made through Jefferies, Credit Suisse, J.P. Morgan, BofA Merrill Lynch, and Deutsche Bank Securities.

According to the F-1 filing, Manchester United is "one of the most popular and successful sports teams in the world, playing one of the most popular spectator sports on Earth."
