Dalmac Proposes to Make Acquisition

EDMONTON, ALBERTA--(Marketwire - July 22, 2008) - John Babic, President and CEO of Dalmac Energy Inc. ("Dalmac") (TSX VENTURE: DAL) announces that further to its news release of June 23, 2008, a formal court order has been issued approving the acquisition by its subsidiary, Dalmac Oilfield Services Inc., of the business and assets of Tinky Rentals Limited Partnership and Tinky Trucking Limited Partnership (the "Tinky Group") for a purchase price of $3.8 million. This transaction will close following the completion of final documentation, which is currently being prepared. The transaction is expected to close during the month of August, 2008.
