China Distance Education (DL) Files $115M IPO

China Distance Education Holdings Limited (NYSE: DL) filed a registration statement with the SEC for an initial public offering of its common stock. The proposed maximum aggregate offering price is $115 million. The company plans to list on the NASDAQ under the stock symbol "DL".

The offering is being made through Citi, Merrill Lynch, Oppenheimer and Piper Jaffray.

China Distance Education offers a wide range of online education and test preparation courses and other related services and products. The company's courses are designed to help professionals and other course participants obtain and maintain the skills, licenses and certifications necessary to pursue careers in China in the areas of accounting, law, healthcare, construction engineering, information technology and other industries.
